Joyful Harvest is looking for adult volunteers to volunteer 2.5 hrs a week until the end of the school year. Joyful uses a mix of paid staff and volunteers to provide after-school programming to area youth. Our service learning volunteers from the University of New England end their time with us before the end of the school year, in years past we could still offer programming without UNE students but that is no longer possible. The after-school program is open Mon-Thur 2:30-5:00pm, volunteers can pick the day that works best for them but we do ask that once you decide on a day that you commit to that day until the end of the school year which is projected to end June 20,2012.
Volunteers assist with homework and daily activities, this is a great way to make a difference in the life of a child, by being a stabilizing force in their lives. Must love kids!
